Togendo Co., Ltd. was founded as a brush and ink store in January 1926 by First Shishida Toshiro as Kannon-do Shishida Shoten at 2-2 Kuramae, Asakusa-ku, Tokyo. After the war, the second generation, Kazuo Shishida, changed the company name to Togendo and established it as a corporation in 1966, specializing in the planning, manufacturing, and sales of paper, stationery, and childcare products.
